What this covers
The short version of what follows.
Atlerix Technologies, Inc. operates this website. This explains what personal information we collect through it, why we collect it, who else handles it and what you can ask us to do with it.
It applies to this website only. Work we do for a client is governed by the written agreement for that work.
What we collect
Two things, and one of them is automatic.
What you send us. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, company name if you give one, the message you write and the budget range you select. If you email or call instead, we have whatever you choose to tell us.
Standard server records. Our host keeps ordinary web server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site, and we do not set cookies.
Why we collect it
To answer you, and nothing else.
We use what you send to reply to your inquiry and to have the conversation you asked for. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for marketing lists. We will not add you to a mailing list because you filled in the form.
Who else handles it
Two services are involved in running this site.
Formspree processes contact form submissions and forwards them to us by email. Submissions pass through and are stored on their systems, which are located in the United States.
Vercel hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
Both companies have their own privacy terms, which govern what they do with information they hold.
Nothing else on this site loads from anywhere but our own domain. The typefaces are served by us, not by a font service, so no third party is contacted simply because you opened a page.
How long we keep it
Longer for real conversations, briefly for everything else.
Inquiry emails stay in our mailbox so we have a record of what was discussed. Copies held by Formspree are kept according to the plan we are on, which currently retains recent submissions for a limited window, not indefinitely. Server logs are kept by our host on their own schedule.
If you ask us to delete what we hold about you, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
What you can ask for
Access, correction, deletion.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email legal@atlerix.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy question, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We will date them.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described, not slipped in quietly.
